Hello Single Malters, today its time to unleash The Manhattan. It is another classic bourbon drink. I simply love it with Maker's 46 bourbon which so well blends with the other ingredients. There is a certain sophistication about this drink and also comes in a fancy glass. An ideal Manhattan is served in a chilled glass with good bourbon and quality ingredients whipped together by expert hands. Sitting on the other end and enjoying is me as I have never made this at home but will do so and share it with you guys in my future blogs. Now get ready to take your senses for a ride with this adventurous and classy drink. For those with energy and passion, I have put together a simple recipe below. For the lazy ones like me, there are some eye candy pictures of the drink for your eyes to feast on.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! one of my favorite cocktail.
DeleteLets talk about Mahattan's..Martimi'and the poor neglected liqour Vermouth. Vermouth is like a flu shot you need it but you dont really want it. I spent many years bartending. Technically you cant have a Martini/Manhattan without it, BUT NOBODY WANTS IT!! In a Manhattan what they really want is Whiskey in a pretty glass. Now there us nothing wrong with that, but lets call it what it is! Next question since eveyone says "very light on the Vermouth, how do the make any money, but thats for another post..Cent'Anni
