Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey

I have wanted to try Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey for a while and finally I got a change to review it today. Before diving into the tasting I like to understand a bit of history of what I am about to drink. Tullamore Dew is the world's second largest Irish Whiskey brand after Jameson. It is tripple distilled and a blend of three types of Irish whiskey- grain, malt & pot still. This is the base version of its wide range of product line which I will review in my upcoming blogs.

SJ's Rating-  Top Shelf
I like this whiskey as it a welcome change from the more popular Jameson. In fact I liked Tullamore Dew better because it has a fresh clean taste. It is a balanced Irish whiskey good for all occasions.

I hope you enjoyed this review as much as I enjoyed writing it. Cheers 🥃🥃. Enjoy Responsibly.
Leaving you with some Irish humor; here it goes
An Irishman was struggling to find a parking space.
"Lord", he prayed. "I can't stand this. If you open a space up for me, I swear I will give up the Guinness and go to mass everyday"
Suddenly, the clouds part and the sun shines on an empty parking spot. Without hesitation, the Irishman says: "Never mind, I found one!"

  1. Love me some Tullamore Dew! The only Irish Whisky I had tasted was Jameson until a bottle was given away as a prize at a meeting I was attending. It peaked my interest, I bought a bottle, and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Love the Irish humor!! Keep’em comming!

    1. I am glad that you like it too. It is a hidden gem and a tough competition to Jameson.
