Chivas Regal 13 Extra Travel Exclusive

It is smooth & enjoyable and a budget blended whisky. However, due to the sweet rum finish does not make it to the top spot. It is confusing whether it is whisky, rum, or a cocktail.I prefer the regular Chivas instead of the rum cask finish.

I agree with the notes, now its time to try it.

I had Nepali rakshi before and compared to that this is way smoother. I believe it is an acquired taste since it is made of millet which is why it is in my middle shelf. Have yet to try their other expression-aged rakshi which will be my next venture.

There are some things that are not worth the hype, and Yarchagumba beverage is one of them. It does not have the taste or character that a whisky lover desires. The bottom line, none of the other drinkers enjoyed it either.

The product story in the labeling -Yarchagumba is a legendary herbal substance that is found in the mountain pastures of Nepal at an altitude of 4000-5000 meters. 
It is a century-old, widely trusted medicinal herb, beneficial to people with various medical conditions. It is famously known as the Himalayan Aphrodisiac and is an anti-aging tonic that adds natural charm to the attainment of a long healthy life. 
Yarchagumba Health Beverage is a specifically formulated drink in which Yarchagumba has been blended with alcohol and multiple natural herbs to provide the most beneficial extract. 
Enough of the story, while there might be health benefits the taste is awful and it is not enjoyable.

Reads the product label "The perfect accompainment to the finest cigars, this single malt is matured in American white oak casks, matusalem Oloroso sherry casks & Cabernet sauvignon barreiques". 
The whisky itself does not have any cigar notes to it. So me and my friends decided to give it a shot and complement it with a cigar. 
Cigar pairing- Flores Y Rodriguez Tamboril from Dominion Republic

It is an enjoyable whisky that does not break the bank.

Reads the product story in the bottle "Speyburn 10 is matured in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks". It further talks about where it's water is sourced, Grant Burn a major tributary of the river Spey. 
I belive some of the words written are just for branding and shaping the image of a drink. The true value of a drink is when you actually taste it!

The Clynelish Distillery is located very close to the coast of north sea. This is where it gets is distinct maritime flavor from. Clynelish 14 reads the product description "This 14 year old is less heavyweight whisky that is deliciously drinkable and makes it and excellent aperitif". 
I agree it is delicious. However I liked it as a digestif as well.

A gin made in Scotland, pretty unusual but true. Hendrick's gin was first introduced in 1999. Not much of a legacy but quite a bold move from the land of Scotch.
