Today, I am reviewing Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Ardbeg- A monster of a dram. I intend to cover the following-
-Brief history behind this whisky
-Tasting notes
- SJ's Rating
- SJ's Pro tip
Ardbeg distillery was founded in 1815 and has come a long way and made a name for itself as an intensely smokey whisky. It has got it's ups and downs and calls itself "The greatest distillery in the world". I can see why and the peaty flavor it imparts is something out of this world.
Just like the name suggests, it really is a monster of a dram. It is matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
