Reads the product story in the bottle "Speyburn 10 is matured in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks". It further talks about where it's water is sourced, Grant Burn a major tributary of the river Spey.
I belive some of the words written are just for branding and shaping the image of a drink. The true value of a drink is when you actually taste it!
