Started a little harsh on the palate but mellowed and warms up to you.

Reads the product label "The perfect accompainment to the finest cigars, this single malt is matured in American white oak casks, matusalem Oloroso sherry casks & Cabernet sauvignon barreiques". 
The whisky itself does not have any cigar notes to it. So me and my friends decided to give it a shot and complement it with a cigar. 
Cigar pairing- Flores Y Rodriguez Tamboril from Dominion Republic

Serving glass- Whisky glass
Serving style- Neat
Appearance- Dark amber
Aroma- Fruits, caramel, hints of roasted coffee beans
Flavor- Fruits, dark chocolate, spices
Body- Medium
Finish- Smooth, warm, medium linger
