Select Club Pecan Praline Canadian Whisky

Select Club Pecan Praline Canadian Whisky- Bottom Shelf. In today's blog, I intend to cover the following.
-Brief history behind this whisky
-Tasting notes
-SJ's Pro tip

The product label says that it is made in Canada, apart from that there is no distillery information. This itself shows the lack of quality!
Now it is time to do the world-famous SJ's tasting :-). Enjoy my tasting notes!

Vital Stats-
Price- $23.99 for 750ml ($1.29 for pictured 50ml sampler)
Age- NAS
ABV- 35%
Region- Canada
Distillery- No information
Awards won- None

Tasting info-
Serving glass- Glencairn Glass
Serving style- Neat
Appearance- Medium amber

Aroma- Vanilla, some fruity notes, not much of pecan. Has this medicinal smell
Flavor- Pecan is omnipresent, too sweet, medicinal syrupy
Body- Medium
Finish- Non-existent, watery, short
SJ's Rating- Bottom Shelf
Way too sweet has no finish, worst Candian Whisky I have ever had! It is like a slushy with some alcohol in it. Terrible!
SJ's Pro tip- I would skip this altogether and not even use it in mixing drinks as it would ruin it.

This whisky changed the good perception I had about Canadian whisky. I would go for Crown Royal in a heartbeat and recommend you too. Cheers! Enjoy Responsibly.
